Menus, Programs, Photos, and Selected Other Documents

The Library has extensive holdings on visits to the United States by foreign heads of state during the presidency of Gerald R. Ford. These visits usually involved both discussions with the President and a state dinner. Mrs. Ford's Social Secretary Maria Downs has written for the Library a description of the process of planning and putting on a state dinner.
