The following is based on "Regulations for the Public Use of Records in the National Archives and Records Administration" (36 CFR 1258).
- Photocopies made by Library staff are 80 cents per page. Self-service photocopies are 25 cents per page. These are standard rates throughout the National Archives and Records Administration.
- Extra charges for foreign addesses or special mail services. Photocopies are shipped at Library expense but additional costs for foreign addresses or special mailing services, such as express or registered mail, will be charged to the customer's bill.
- A minimum $20.00 charge applies to any order that must be mailed.
- Payment prior to delivery. Orders are shipped promptly upon receipt of payment. An advance deposit of 25% of the estimated total is required for orders exceeding 400 pages. Self-service photocopies are provided on a cash and carry basis.
- Method of payment. Payments may be made by cash, check or money order payable to the Gerald R. Ford Library Trust Fund, or Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express cards. Checks for orders exceeding $200 must be certified. Remittances from outside the United States must be paid by international money order payable in U.S. dollars, or a check drawn on a U.S. bank.
- Personal copiers are barred from the research room, but flatbed scanners without document feeders and digital cameras are permitted..
- Federal Government users, including agency historians, will be charged the standard fees.
