back to American Patriot: Vietnam
The Vietnam case features Hope’s combat shirt from the 1969 USO tour of
Vietnam, bearing insignia of the many units he visited in Southeast Asia that
year. Also inside are his white hard hat, decorated with Santa and his sleigh,
an orientation packet from Operation Holly ’70, a MIA bracelet he received
from a missing soldier’s family, and a papier-mache piñata in his
likeness.
